Show Ryze your plate.
It counts the rest.

A calorie counter that reads a photo, a training coach that keeps your week, and workouts that run with no signal. Meals and training, in one app.

  • No ads
  • Offline at the gym
  • French, English, German
The Ryze home screen: calories left, the day's meals, water, and today's workout.

845

kcal counted from one photo of a poke bowl, 8 foods named one by one.

0

bars of signal needed to run a full workout, rest timer included.

complete languages: the interface, the foods and the exercises.

02The scan

Stop weighing your food.
Just show Ryze.

One photo of the plate, and Ryze names what is on it. Not "mixed meal, about 800 kcal": the avocado, the salmon, the dressing, each with its amount and its calories, each editable with one tap.

  • 8 foods named separately on this poke bowl, 845 kcal in total
  • Protein, carbs and fats broken out under the total
  • Every line adjusts: change 100 g to 150 g and the rest follows
  • Barcode and search are still there when you prefer them
The analysis screen for a poke bowl: 845 kcal, the macros, and the list of what Ryze recognised.
03The words

Ate it already?
Just tell Ryze.

The meal is over, there is no photo. You write the sentence you would say to a friend — or you speak it — and Ryze breaks it down. Even the butter in the pan, which nobody thinks to count.

  • "Two eggs on toast and a latte" → 662 kcal, 5 lines
  • The cooking butter is in there, with its grams
  • No field to fill, no unit to pick
  • By voice when your hands are busy
A meal written as one sentence, broken down by Ryze into 5 foods for 662 kcal.

Coach Ryze · nutritionThe butter in the pan, the oil, the dressing: that is where the calories nobody counts go. I count them.

04The planner

Friday, 30-minute run?
Ryze books it in.

This is where Ryze stops being a logbook. You ask in one sentence, the session lands in the week, dated. You change your mind, it moves. The grid at the top shows at a glance what is done and what is left.

  • "Add me a 30-minute run on Friday" — written, dated, done
  • Strength, cardio, HIIT, or a session at home
  • Bad back, no equipment: the coach offers something else
  • One visual variable carries state: filled is done, outlined is planned
The planner: the week grid and the request "add me a 30-minute run on Friday", which Ryze confirms.
05The workout

No signal at the gym?
Ryze doesn't need one.

A basement gym, a trail in the woods: the workout is already on the phone. Sets, loads and the rest timer run locally, and everything syncs back the moment signal returns.

  • Sets, loads and reps ticked off offline
  • Rest timer with −15 s / +15 s and skip
  • GPS cardio records with no data
  • Syncs as soon as signal returns, without asking you anything
A leg workout in progress, marked offline, with the rest timer at 1:15.

Coach Ryze · trainingNo signal in the basement? The workout is already in your pocket, rest timer included.

06The target

Your goal, mapped out
at a healthy pace.

Ryze shows you the curve before you start: where you are, where it takes you, and by what date. The pace is computed from your weight and your goal, not from what would make a pretty chart.

  • 174 lb today, 157 lb projected — with the date
  • The "with Ryze" curve sits against "continuing as before"
  • Today's target: 1,934 kcal and 169 g of protein
  • You take stock every week, and the plan adjusts
The weight projection: 174 lb today, 157 lb by the target date, and today's target at 1,934 kcal.
07The morning

Every morning,
your day is laid out.

You open the app and it is all there: what you have left to eat, the meals already logged, water, today's workout and the week. No dashboard to build yourself, no tab to go hunting for.

  • Calories left in large type, and the day's gauge
  • Meals logged and meals to come, at a glance
  • Today's workout, with a button to start it
  • The week in dots: what is done, what is planned
The home screen: calories left, the gauge, the day's meals, water, and the workout to start.

What Ryze does
that the others don't.

Most apps pick their half: count the meals, or keep the workouts. Ryze holds both in a single subscription, and the workout half runs with no signal. That is the difference, and it can be checked on the App Store listings cited here.

Questions
people ask

How does Ryze count calories from a photo?

The scan reads the image, names each food it recognises and gives it an estimated amount. On the poke bowl shown on this page that comes to 8 lines for 845 kcal, with protein, carbs and fats broken out.

An estimate stays an estimate: expect roughly ±20% on a composed dish. Every line is editable, and correcting one amount updates everything else.

Do I need signal to train?

No. Today's workout is already on the phone: sets, loads, the rest timer and GPS cardio all work offline. What you did syncs back on its own when signal returns.

The photo scan and the search for an unknown food do need a connection — they reach for an analysis and a database that do not fit on the phone.

Does Ryze replace a coach or a dietitian?

No, and it does not claim to. Ryze is a tracking tool: it counts, it plans and it shows you where you are heading. Medical advice or care — an eating disorder, diabetes, pregnancy, an injury — is a matter for a health professional, to be consulted before changing your diet or your training.

What does it cost, and what is free?

Three days of trial, everything unlocked, with no card to enter beyond the App Store itself. After that $9.99 a month or $59.99 a year. No ads, during the trial or after.

The subscription is cancelled in your Apple account settings at any time, and the trial ends owing nothing if you cancel before it runs out.

Where does my health data go?

Into a database hosted in the European Union. Meal photos are sent for analysis and then deleted — they are not kept. Nothing is sold to third parties, and the app shows no advertising, so there is nothing to profile you for.

The detail is in the privacy policy; deleting your account erases everything within 30 days.

Is there an Android version?

Not yet. Ryze is on iPhone (iOS 15 and later). An Android version is being built; write to support@coach-ryze.com with "Android" in the subject and you will hear from us at launch.

All the answers

Three days is enough to know.

Take a photo of your next meal. If Ryze doesn't save you time on the very first one, you'll know well before the trial is out.
